Measurement Procedure

Zeroing: Add 9 mL of unreacted sample to the cuvette, insert it into the Checker, and press the button to zero the instrument.

Reaction: Remove the cuvette and add 10 drops of the HI733-25 reagent. Swirl gently to mix.

Timing: Re-insert the cuvette and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the internal timer (or wait 5 minutes before pressing the button).

Result: The device will display the concentration of ammonium (NH_4^+) directly in ppm.
